About the Fan Club

Founded in Bucharest in 2020, Atomic Ski Fans is a global community dedicated to everyone who loves skiing and the Atomic brand. What started as a small Facebook group has grown into a vibrant hub where skiers, racers, and industry professionals share their passion, experiences, and knowledge.

With members from all over the world – including Atomic employees – the community thrives on connection, inspiration, and the joy of being on the slopes. Very active on social media, Atomic Ski Fans is more than a group: it’s a family bound together by the mountains, the snow, the brand and the spirit of skiing.

The community also has a presence on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, spreading the spirit of skiing under its recognizable red, black, and white identity, with the same name and the motto:

#wearefans – united by skiing, inspired by Atomic.

Our Story

Atomic Ski Fans was founded in Bucharest, Romania, in 2020 by Bogdan Giurgiu, a former Romanian ski racer with a passion for connecting skiers from all walks of life. What began as a Facebook group quickly became a vibrant hub for ski enthusiasts, professional athletes, and industry insiders.

After just one year, Atomic Ski Fans entered into an official collaboration with Atomic, strengthening its ties with the brand it celebrates. Today, the group has grown into an active, international network, including many Atomic employees, competitive skiers, and everyday enthusiasts.

The group’s energy extends beyond Facebook — Atomic Ski Fans also has a YouTube channel and Instagram account under the same name, sharing ski stories, tips, and moments from the slopes. With its bold red, white, and black identity, the community proudly uses the tagline #wearefans to unite its members under a shared love for the sport and brand.

And above all that, It’s not just about gear—it’s about the culture of skiing and the camaraderie that comes with it. Members see it as both a fan club and a hub for authentic ski culture.

Whether carving turns on icy race tracks or fresh corduroy or cheering from the sidelines, Atomic Ski Fans is where the passion for skiing meets the spirit of friendship.

What we do

We share updates and information in our Facebook group about Atomic athletes, World Championship race schedule, start lists, live broadcasts;
We share updates and information in our Facebook group about new Atomic equipment;
We offer advice on Atomic equipment (many of us are Atomic Ski Guuru’s, including myself);
We offer general advice on skiing, fitting boots, ski resorts, etc.;
We organize 4-5 raffles (together with our good friends from Atomic) every season, in which we offer ski equipment as prizes (skis, poles, helmets, goggles);
During the season, from time to time, some active members receive various gifts (signed posters, T-shirts with the group logo, labels, stickers).

We are constantly promoting talented young skiers on all social media channels! To find them all, search for the playlist „Young guns – the future of our sport!“ on our YouTube channel.

As an international community spread across the globe (literally), we meet quite rarely. The most frequent meetings are at the level of each country, usually on the slopes, carving turns together for a couple of days!

But there is a desire to prepare for a big meeting, with as many fans of the brand as possible! Where? At the factory in Altenmarkt im Pongau, of course!

Fan/fun facts - memorable moments

My personal ones – I think the first (and most important because it means recognition of the work up to that point) was in 2021 when I received a message from someone from Atomic asking me for an online meeting because he wanted to get to know me. It turned out that the person who contacted me was and is part of the company’s senior management… It was something …WOW… I never imagined they would be the ones to contact me first.

The second was the 1st „Atomic Media Day“ event I attended and I had the opportunity to meet my heroes face-to-face.

On the other hand, all our members have had and still have memorable memories. At every race they participate in, they meet their heroes.
